Description of the Hotel St. George:

The hotel's 59 rooms are medium in size and kept in very good condition, as are the bathrooms. The rooms have been recently renovated in a traditional manner with varying decor. All the ensuite rooms benefit from direct dial telephone, trouser Press, working Desks for Laptops, hairdryer, colour television with satellite channels, welcome tray, 24 hour room service. The restaurant serves a selection of English and Continental cuisine in traditional surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing meal. A traditional historic building, built in brown brick and set across one level. The entrance is slightly grander with a tall facade. The lobby is large in size and attractive with its decor. The main bar is directly to the left of the lobby with plenty of seating. The hotel as stated is an ex RAF officers Mess and the hotel has kept this theme. Ideal hotel for clients wishing to be in the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire dales, or of course for using Teesside airport. (04/07 KB)
