Posada del Maple Bed & Breakfast Hostel is an ideal home base for your vacations in Quito, Ecuador. We are located on the most beautiful and quiet street in the Mariscal district, away from the noise of the commercial areas. The Mariscal district in Quito is an interesting mixture of homes, local businesses, shops, restaurants, clubs, hotels, art galleries, touring agencies, churches and museums. We are just a few blocks from Amazonas Avenue, one of the best-known avenues in Quito. The birding, mountaineering, and wildlife of Ecuador can hardly be surpassed, and the Posada del Maple Hostel is first-class with its homey and comfortable feeling, central location and useful services. The hostel is registered with the Quito Historic Foundation and was built in rustic style using red bricks and wood floors. Each room is unique, clean and has plenty of hot water 24 hours a day. Here you will encounter honest, friendly and helpful staff who really do care. The Breakfast Bar is open from 7am to 10am daily and is included with the room price: scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast, fresh fruits and juice, coffee, tea, chocolate, hot or cold milk, cereal, oats, butter and homemade jelly. Facilities of the hostel include patios, terraces and rooftop, hot water 24 hours a day, conference rooms, kitchen facilities, secure parking for vehicles, cable television with English-language channels located in the comfortable Lizard, the Quiteño Lounge, and the Patio Café, La Molienda de Jóse (cybercafé next door) and more. We also have long-term storage facilities and a safety deposit box for your valuables, even when you are away on tour, laundry services (we clean and iron clothes on the premises) and, if you so desire, we can greet you personally at the Quito airport when you arrive.
